Welcome back to In the Pantry, where we explore the kitchens of our favourite creatives. This week, we’re stepping inside the Thornbury home of artist Bobby Clark to take a look into her very adorable pantry.
Known for her bold, geometric compositions, Bobby’s art practice is grounded, precise, and deeply personal. The same could be said for her pantry!
With a newborn on one hip and a toddler running about, Bobby’s kitchen has become a space of comforting chaos.

Baby avocados are a new favourite in her household, chosen partly because the standard ones have become too pricey, but also because they’re the perfect size for a slice of toast with a squeeze of lemon.
Bobby finds joy in baking from scratch, so there is always lots of flour in her pantry, that is mostly used to feed her beloved sourdough starter—a gift from Akimbo Bakery after she sadly couldn’t keep her original one alive.
A self proclaimed massive sweet tooth, Bobby always has maple syrup on hand that she likes to add to her coffee.
Celtic salt is another essential—not just for cooking, but as a handy remedy. “Pop a pinch under your tongue if you’re feeling faint,” she says, a tip she swears by for busy mums.
And finally, Oasis almond butter (bought in bulk) for daily spoonfuls straight from the jar.
