Simon Paredes
Simon is an artist at Arts Project Australia who uses coloured pencils to craft striking, simplified forms on paper. His work is characterised by a keen focus on domestic objects and nostalgic elements of retro pop culture, blending everyday familiarity with a bold artistic vision.
Simon joined Arts Project Australia in 2014 and has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, including Wangaratta Art Gallery and Arts Centre Melbourne, and his work is held in private collections across Australia.

Simon's bold and precise illustration captures the nostalgic charm of Melbourne’s beloved sandwich shop, Stefanino Panino — which sells out daily to dedicated regulars. In his artwork made with colour pencil on black rag paper, Simon portrays Stefanino's most popular dish, the Bologna Panino.
