Simon Fitzsimon

Simon Fitzsimon

Tully Moore's "Simon Fitzsimon" paintings are based on imagery from the fruit and vegetable distributor he works at.

His works reference traditional trompe l’oeil still life paintings that rely upon biographic notations that place them in an environment that reflects on its place of origin or with a specific aim at giving an autobiographical reference to an individual.

The painting's effect act as a ruse to convince another of its or the painters commercial asset, using their artistic skills as a means of commerce for over three decades.

The Poster - Lune's Coconut Pandan Twice Baked Croissaint

Painted in Simon's signature photo-realistic style, the ingredients of the croissant appear to project forward from the canvas, like you could almost reach out and grab them. A truly out-of-this-world piece of art.
