This poster is made in collaboration with Arts Project Australia, a Melbourne-based studio and gallery that supports artists with intellectual disabilities.

Artist Samantha Ashdown conjures the vibrant energy of the Queen Victoria Market in her still-life painting of fresh produce from specialty grocer Queen's Harvest. A market box overflows with artichokes, lemons, sweet potato onto the artist's desk; carrots nestled into her paint brushes.

Through her work, Samantha captures one of the most important parts of market life—the faces and people of Queen's Harvest, that have played a part in its 60-year legacy as a cornerstone of the Queen Victoria Market.

Samantha's use of bright colour and dynamic movement beautifully captures the joy of food that the Tripodi family has brought to the city since 1964 through their beloved family-run grocer.
