Artist Gemma Leslie spent this year watching everyone else's Euro summer unfold on her phone - the markets, the wine, the linen shirts, and grew so intensely, deliciously jealous that she decided to paint her way to France instead. The result is six petit artworks, each one a tiny act of culinary escapism, painted with real longing in her Melbourne studio.
