Painted by Gemma Leslie to evoke the joy of Messina's whimsical creations, drawing on mid-century design motifs.

Instantly recognisable to anyone who knows Messina, Dr. Evil's Magic Mushroom cake is a symbol of their endless creativity. This extraordinary cake was originally made as a one-off! It was a birthday cake for one of the owner's son who was obsessed with the magical garden scene from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. It was too good not be shared and has stayed on their menu ever since.

It's Messina's best-selling scoop for a reason!
They import the world's best pistachios all the way from Sicily for their unrivalled flavour, that is sweeter and richer than standard pistachios. Artist Gemma Leslie paid tribute to its culinary roots with Sicilian motifs and varying tones of pistachio green.
